SOFT No. 3

The return of SOFT has once again made a mark in Cagayan de Oro’s blossoming art scene. On its third leg last April 27th, SOFT brought forth a mix of old and new local artists at the Maker’s Market who were carefully selected in an application process.

Various makers such as Studio One Art Studio and Gallery, Abee Burnea, Handmade by Marj Chua, You Care PH, Kettle of Fish, Sulad Kulay x Zteffink, The Write Script PH, Anthea Jacq, Sews & Roses, Shoji, Leigh and Lyle, Arkadia Collective, Tsutsumu, and The Story Machine- had a lot in store to the public.

Since this time around SOFT took place in the heat of the summer, the elusive Chingkeetea Tea Bar has also opened for everyone to try out and taste their special selection of refreshing drinks concocted by Chingkee Te herself.

As the day went on and the evening soon approached, the anticipated Soft Music came about with INDIE CDO helping out put together the set of performers for the night. KRNA, Aira, Shades of Native, Flaw In Armor, Ikabaud Kraine, Annalogue, This Being, and a mysterious performer who was later on revealed as Kim Trinidad of Loop were the musicians lined up who not only filled the night with great music but memorably capped the day off.

By pulling off yet another successful creative event, SOFT has remained true to its common vision and that is to continually contribute in letting the art community simply shine and grow.
