Our story

Right after graduating college, Ms Chingkee Te started what soon would become Cagayan de Oro’s favorite milktea place. Inspired by her love for tea and art, she created ‘Chingkeetea’, a small but quirky milktea shop inside Marfori Compound.

After a couple months, the demand for chingkeetea grew, and another branch soon opened near Corpus Christi School.

A month later, a new Chingkeetea branch opened in Grand Central.

A pop-up shop was opened in Masterson Avenue uptown in July 2016, and was open for over a year.

And like a child growing out of their old clothes, Chingkeetea had to say goodbye to their original branch and transferred to Pimentel’s Ancestral House in Pabayo-Hayes Sts.

In 2017, Chingkeetea opened its first branch outside CDO in Iligan.
